Well, Family Fun Day was seriously fun! It was super hot, hot, hot, and we had Suma Rikkyu Park almost to ourselves (nobody else was mad enough!). We started in the Botanical Garden and did color hunting and parachuting before lunch. After lunch we had a treasure hunt/survival course as we hiked across the park and we did the Pirate Adventure Trail. We found our treasure - water guns, water balloons, bubbles, snacks and play dough - and chased each other around getting very wet. Fourteen children and 4 staff set off for Maiko after our Saturday class finished. We had lunch in the park,  went up to Maiko bridge and walked over the water. It was super high. The kids standing on the glass window above the waves. Next we headed off to search for crabs at Maiko Beach.
